- Homer D. Hounddog comes from Philadelphia, PA. He can never seem to get past the puppet castle curtains.
- Big Al the Alligator comes from the Florida Everglades. He enjoys swimming and sunning himself on secluded beaches.
- Big Blue comes from Pittsburgh, PA. When not telling stories, he doubles as Castle Security - "The Boys In Blue."
- Derwood Dragon comes from Brooklyn, NY. In cold weather he serves as the castle's central heating system.
- Captain Noah Teach comes from Nags Head, NC. His great ancestor was Captain Edward Teach - "Blackbeard the Pirate."
- Caldwell Crow comes from Angeles City in the Philippines. The phone company employs him to make long distance caws!
- Jesse comes from London, England. He is the castle "grandfather" and keeps the other puppets in line.
- Ralph D. Monster comes from Philadelphia, PA, and is famous for being wild about Chocolate Chip Cookies.
- Phil the Frog comes from Atmore, AL. He says that anyone can get a southern accent by drinking out of Dixie cups.
- Jack the Rabbit comes from the Prairies of the Midwest where rabbits abound. His favorite restaurant is I.H.O.P., of course!
- Sven is from Sweden. He works in the fiords as a lumberjack. He thinks Ford cars have "beautiful engines."
- Lurkey the Turkey comes from Luray, VA. He is cousin to Turkey Lurkey. He knows the sky is not falling. You can't fool him!
- Howie comes from Philadelphia, PA. He always seems to have a cold. Sometimes he sneezes so hard he blows his nose off!
- Mo Skeeter comes from Atcheson, KS, home to big mosquitos. Don't keep your "eye out" for him! Keep your arm out!
- How Long is of Chinese descent, but actually comes from Alabama. He comes from a large family with LONG names.
- Zeek from the Creek comes from the "hollers" of WV. The house he grew up in had an Australian bathroom - Out back!
- Muffin comes from Spartanburg, SC. His favorite song is "Yes, Jesus Loves Me-ow!"
- Rufus is from San Francisco, CA. He is a "mean, lean, sheep-herding machine!" He says a dog's favorite drink is "Dr. Pupper!"
- Bananas comes from the jungles of Arfica. He says if you have two banana peels you have a "pair of slippers."
- "Woody" (Woodrow Charles or Wood Chuck) is from Philadelphia, PA. He likes girls and loves to sing Jesus Loves Me - BACKWARDS!
- Mr. Evil is one of Satan's helpers. He picks on "Mrs. Webbfoot," tries to ruin stories and keeps people out of church.
- Monty Magpie is a chimney sweep from London, England. It "burns him up" if someone lights a fire while he is still in the chimney!
